건배사
geonbaesa
Toast speech
At Korean gatherings someone is often asked to give a geonbaesa, a short toast before everyone drinks. Many use a clever call-and-response: the leader shouts the first part of a slogan and the group answers, sometimes turning a phrase into a playful acronym.
