Hannip (한입) is a Korean-language practice app. We try to keep things simple: we do not run accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. The policy below documents the limited data flows that do occur.
None server-side. Hannip does not require sign-up, does not collect personal information, and does not maintain user accounts.
The only data stored locally on your device:
localStorage.
When you tap the microphone button to practice shadow-reading, Hannip asks for
permission to use the device microphone and speech recognition service. The
captured audio is processed by Apple's on-device SFSpeechRecognizer
(or, on the web, by your browser's built-in speech recognition). Hannip does
not store, transmit, or retain microphone recordings.
To play Korean audio for letters, words, and sentences, Hannip sends the displayed Korean text to a Cloudflare Pages function which proxies the request to Google Translate's public text-to-speech endpoint. The request contains only the Korean text to read aloud and standard network headers (User-Agent, IP address). Hannip does not log or store these requests.
The Hannip iOS app loads its content from https://korean-4n7.pages.dev,
hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may keep standard server logs (IP
address, request URL, response code) for a short retention period, as part
of their normal operations. We do not access or aggregate these logs.
Hannip is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any data from children or anyone else.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
