Korean Culture & Customs
수고하십니다
sugohasimnida
'수고' to a superior?
수고하세요/수고하십니다 ('keep up the good work') is fine for peers or juniors, but saying it to a boss or elder can sound presumptuous, as if praising their effort from above. To a superior, 고맙습니다 or 안녕히 가세요 is safer.
