How to use it
Sino-Korean noun + 화하다 is active/transitive ('to -ize X'): 자동화하다 = automate it. + 화되다 is passive/intransitive ('to become -ized'): 자동화되다 = become automated. Choose by whether the subject acts on something or undergoes the change.
화하다 takes an object; 화되다 does not.,Common: 현대화, 세계화, 디지털화, 강화/약화.
