The concept

社死 — Social death / dying of embarrassment

How Koreans say it

흑역사 ('dark history') = a humiliating past moment you wish never happened — your personal 社死 file. The reflexive aftermath is 이불킥 ('kicking the blanket'): lying in bed at night, suddenly remembering it, and kicking your covers in cringe.
