How to use it
States that something happens naturally or inevitably as a general truth: 'it's bound to / that's how it tends to be.' Attaches to a verb/adjective stem as -기 마련이다 or -게 마련이다 (interchangeable). Expresses a law-like generalization, not a one-time event.
-기 마련이다 and -게 마련이다 are interchangeable in meaning.,Common in proverbs/aphorisms about life's regularities.
