Korean Grammar Patterns
-아/어 빠지다
Meaning
Utterly / excessively (negative)
How to use it
-아/어 빠지다 attaches to adjectives to emphasize an extreme, usually undesirable, degree — 'utterly', 'hopelessly'. It carries a strongly negative or critical tone, so avoid it for compliments.
Typical: 게을러 빠지다 (utterly lazy), 낡아 빠지다 (worn out).,Almost always pejorative — never say 예뻐 빠지다 as praise.
