Korean Grammar Patterns
-다시피
Meaning
as you (know/see); almost / just about
How to use it
Attaches to verbs of knowing/seeing/hearing (알다, 보다, 듣다 etc.) to mean 'as you already know/see/heard', referring to shared information. With action verbs it can mean 'almost / to the point of (as if doing)', expressing that something nearly reaches that state. It is somewhat formal and common in explanations and presentations.
Most common as 아시다시피 / 보시다시피 ('as you know / as you can see').,With motion verbs like 뛰다 it can mean 'practically' (e.g. 뛰다시피 가다 = go almost running).
