ㅂ-irregular verbs
How to use it
In ㅂ-irregular adjectives/verbs, stem-final ㅂ becomes 우 before a vowel, merging into 워/와: 춥다 → 추워요. 돕다 and 곱다 uniquely become 와: 도와요. Regular ㅂ words (잡다, 입다) do not change.
Many adjectives are ㅂ-irregular: 덥다, 쉽다, 어렵다.,Only 돕다·곱다 take 와; the rest take 워.
