How to use it
Spaced 안 되다 = the literal negation 'does not become / is not allowed / won't work'. Joined 안되다 is one word meaning 'to go badly / turn out poorly' or 'to feel sorry/concerned'. Choose spacing by meaning.
'공부가 안된다' = studies aren't going well (joined).,'들어가면 안 된다' = you must not enter (spaced).
